Kabobstic
Kababstic is a Jordanian-style Mediterranean restaurant that takes great pride in offering a homemade, high-quality dining experience paired with top-class service. From the very beginning, the owners wanted their brand to reflect not just the authenticity of their cuisine but also a modern, approachable identity that would resonate with both loyal and new customers.
I had the privilege of guiding them through the full creative process—helping to define the look and feel of the brand identity. One of the earliest and most important design decisions was the logo itself. I proposed incorporating a star into the dot of the “i,” symbolizing the word “Fantastic,” which forms the second half of the restaurant’s name. This small but meaningful detail gave the logo personality, while visually reinforcing the playfulness and positivity behind “Kababstic.”

From there, my role expanded to cover every aspect of the project. I developed a complete brand identity system, including logo usage, shirt designs, business cards, menus, and promotional items. For the storefront, I designed the main sign, street sign, and window graphics that gave the restaurant immediate visibility and curb appeal. Inside, I contributed to the customer experience by producing all food photography and digital menu displays, ensuring the cuisine was represented as beautifully as it tasted.
One of the highlights was the creation of a large-scale mural that became a centerpiece of the restaurant’s interior. Initially designed digitally, the mural was printed, installed, and then hand-painted over to add texture, authenticity, and artistic flair—making it not just decoration, but a storytelling element within the space.

Beyond design, I also played a key role in building the restaurant’s operational infrastructure. I set up the POS system, streamlined the ordering process, and created both the main website and a secondary online ordering site integrated with Clover POS. This allowed customers to place orders directly with the kitchen, simplifying workflow for the staff while improving the customer experience.

In addition, I helped establish Kababstic’s social media presence, ensuring that the brand voice and visuals were consistent across platforms. Combined with professional photography and promotional design, these efforts strengthened the restaurant’s visibility and connection with its audience.

What began as a logo design project quickly evolved into a comprehensive collaboration that touched every aspect of the business—from branding and marketing to customer experience and technical operations. Today, Kababstic thrives not only because of its incredible food and service but also because its identity communicates exactly what it represents: authenticity, quality, and a touch of something fantastic.

This project was more than design work—it was about helping bring a vision to life, building a restaurant brand that is as memorable and inviting as the flavors it serves.
